terms for Version 1.x of Cloudgarden's TalkingJava SDK
-
The TalkingJava SDK contains an implementation
of Sun's Java Speech API 1.0 (contained in the runtime libraries cgjsapi.jar
and cgjsapi1xx.dll and henceforth referred to as "the implementation")
as well as additional Java packages, examples and documentation.
-
Any and all code used in the SDK or
the implementation may NOT be disassembled or reverse-engineered.
-
Neither the SDK nor the implementation
may be resold - the implementation may only be resold as part of a speech-enabled
application if significant functionality is added, and sufficient Professional
licenses are purchased from Cloudgarden.
-
The TIME-LIMITED EVALUATION version
of the SDK and implementation may be downloaded, distributed and used for
free.
-
Any distribution of the SDK or implementation
with or without a product must include a copy of this license agreement.
-
The NON-TRIAL version of the SDK and
implementation may not be downloaded or used without purchase of a Personal
or Professional license from it's author.
-
The Personal License for the
SDK allows the license holder to install and use the SDK and implementation
on a single machine for personal, non-profit or academic purposes only.
-
The Personal License does not
allow the holder to re-distribute the NON-TRIAL version of the SDK or implementation
in any way.
-
If the NON-TRIAL version of this SDK
or implementation is to be used by a corporation or business in any way,
or used for development of a commercial product or included in a product
which will be sold or used for profit, a sufficient number of Professional
Licenses must be purchased.
-
Purchase of a Personal or Professional
License for Version 1.x of this SDK allows the license holder to download
any future upgrades to the Version 1.x SDK (where 'x' stands for any minor
version number)
